Take Your Library With You – In Style

0

eBooks are fabulous. I’m not going to mention the one I wrote, again. Oops! I guess I just did, huh? ;)   It’s called Selling in an Antique Mall: A Beginner’s Guide. There’s a link over there —–> on the side bar if you’re interested.

So, yeah, where was I?

eBooks

They really are fabulous. You can take an entire library with you. Read what you want, when you want. You can get a specific techno gadget*, or do what I did.

I downloaded the free Kindle and Nook apps to my smartphone — a techno gadget I already paid big bucks for, so why shell out more cash for another contraption for which I’d have to find room in my purse? Hmmm?

Yep. The phone is always with me, and so are dozens of books.

*But, if you want to get a new gadget, I’d make one of the cool cozies pictured in this post. I love the handmade juxtaposed with high tech, don’t you?

Indie Authors

I mentioned indie authors in another post. They’re another piece of fabulous-ness to the world of eBooks. The explosive growth of self-publishing has brought us an amazing array of fiction and nonfiction from which to choose. You are no longer limited to what is on a bookstore’s shelves.

Little Bits of Time

Because I carry around a library in a 2.5 by 4.5 inch little smartphone, I’m able to take advantage of pockets of time – stuck in a traffic jam (that isn’t moving), waiting in a checkout line, waiting for a meeting to start, waiting for my husband to get his butt in gear … you get the idea. That allows me to read more of the books I want to read.

See? Told you. eBooks are fabulous. Get some!
