Disorganized HELL!

1

200255159-001For two days now, I’ve been looking through my bookmarks for links I know I saved for an ebook I’m working on.

TWO.

STINKING.

DAYS!

That’s what happens when you bookmark every freakin’ site that remotely catches your interest.

Fortunately, I’m smart enough to delete and cleanup the bookmarks as I go, but geez it’s taking forever.

And, yes, I’ve tried Googling to no avail. The search terms include buy, trip and France with a result of 2,345,990,304,399 sites. My bookmark file is long, but not that long.

The same happens to me with digital photos. I file them in what I think is an organized manner. Hah! I have a home desktop I share with hubby, a pink little mini laptop I carry around everywhere, a back-up external drive on the desktop AND an external drive in a cute little case that’s all mine.

That’s four places where a photo I’m looking for could potentially be hiding. Oh, wait. Throw in a 16 gig flash drive. That makes five.

I’ve organized my clothes, my yarn, my books, my magazines, even my cleaning supplies — it’s about dang time I organize my electronic life!

Deep breath.

Exhale.

OK, back to the bookmarks I go.

Update: Found ‘em! Now, do I go back to editing my ebook … or continue editing those blasted bookmarks? Hmmmmm.
