Joys of Weekend

0

queenAside from not blogging as frequently, there’s been another change in my life since going back to the 9-to-5 grind of a real job. I’ve rediscovered the joys of weekend. Really – I took some things for granted during my three years of working at home with myself as boss and queen of my own time.

Like taking long hot showers and not worrying about the time or that someone else needed to get ready for work, too.

Putzing around the house in the morning in my slippers and jammies until I had my fill of coffee.

Trying out new makeup and hair styling products with ample time to wash it all off if it didn’t quite work out for me.

Leisurely brushing Old Lady Kitty until her coat shines. I’m fairly certain she misses that on a daily basis, too.

The best joy of all for this working girl is Saturday night. Saturday errands are done and there’s nothing but wide open time on Sunday. Ahhhh. Should I write and then knit? Or knit and then write and then crochet some? Decisions. Decisions.
