She <em>and we</em> are doing better. Determined to go back home, she completely nixed the idea of senior housing. So, after about three weeks in a rehab facility to get her back on her feet, she went home. We're getting her a lift chair thingy for the stairs. I'm a worry wart too who hasn't been sleeping. I can wake up at 2:30 am wide awake. Then my mind starts going at 100 miles an hour over all kinds of crap. You know, the crap that gets you more stressed and wide awake. I lay there for 30 min. If I still awake, then I will get up. I think I should quilt or something but usually end up on Facebook, either farming or playing Mafia. lol Your mom sounds like my very strong willed grandmother. The Little German we used to call her. I wish I had more of her strength. Up until my grandfather passed away, she was a strong little lady and although they were early 90s, they still lived in their own home. 5 months after he passed, she did too. She gave up without him.
