How to become a PUBLISHED Photographer

sues calendar nov 2010

Sue of the infamous Vintage Rescue Squad put out a plea for junk photos for a calendar she put together, so I sent her one I thought would fit her great junking style best. My salt shakers are November’s feature.

The photos throughout the calendar are fabulous. Even better are all the listings of the major antique, flea and junk markets. Sue did the research for you and put it in calendar form! And there’s enough room to note your own local events, too.

She printed up just a few for her Etsy shop. If you want one, you better jump on it right now.

Thanks, Sue, for taking the time to put together such a fabulous calendar … and giving me street cred as a photographer ;)

So, to recap: you become a published photographer by taking macro photos for your blog. Then, when a blogging buddy asks for pictures to use in the cool calendar she’s putting together – you send her one. Tada! Published.

Thanks for the shoutout! And most importantly, always take photos at the highest resolution, as you never know how they might be used!
