Inspiration and Winners

INSPIRATION OF THE WEEK

My shoes have to have great arch support or I’m a hobbling, wincing mess by noon.  Nevertheless, these Converse creations are awesome, aren’t they?  All it takes is a sharp needle, a little embroidery floss and some creativity.

I'm not certain that these baby blue shoes are Converse, but I love the color and the pompom trim.

Love the crochet flounce at the ankle.

And, of course, we must have a knitted pair with pink polka dot laces from Craftzine.

OCTOBER’S GIVEAWAY WINNER

opera-glasses_b

The winner for September’s giveaway is Nancy!

Remember these beautiful Opera Glasses? That’s what Nancy won. Congrats, Nancy! Nancy’s blog is called Live, Laugh, Love. Give her a visit, okay?

Of course, I’m having another giveaway in October. I just haven’t taken a photo of the prize yet. I will soon and post it.

In the meantime, every comment (and/or trackback) left during the month of October qualifies as an entry for October’s giveaway. Again, my only rule is that you MUST have a U.S. shipping address to win.

Inis,
So excited to hear that I won the opera glasses! I will find a very special place to display my treasure! You are so generous; thank you again. Hey, I love those Converse shoes! Wouldn’t it be fun to decorate them!? I don’t think my kids will let me wear them, tho’!

Awesome feature….makes me want to dig out my embroidery floss and commit random acts of thread vandalism on my unsuspecting footwear. Thanks for posting.
