tomato sandwichStart with organic, sweet cream butter spread on your favorite bread.  Today, mine is potato bread – although I love a dense German rye, too.

tomato sandwich 2Layer on juicy, from the vine tomato slices. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Slice, enjoy open-faced style … and then make another, because this one tasted so good. ;)

I love summer’s tomato bounty.
