Shiny, soft, brilliant color.

There’s nothing like vintage perle cotton … kept in an old marinated artichoke jar.  The dryer sheet removes any musty odors on the perle and a precaution against lingering artichoke aroma.

I love looking at the luscious luminance wound in a ball, the graphics on the labels. I love how the silky strands feel while working it. And I always love, love, love the crisp yet soft finish of every project.

Leaving the ball in the jar as I work keeps the ball from rolling away and keeps the perle clean. Surprisingly, they almost never tangle – a testament to the smooth finishes.
