Picture Pink

The last time I browsed our antique mall — I know, I know I’m supposed to be selling NOT buying – I must have been in a pink frame of mind.

My camera found the French pink, the soft vintage pink, the professional pink.

purse clockpurse clock 2This clever vendor creates clocks using all vintage materials. Here she applied bits of pink vintage jewelry to a patent-leather purse to make an exquisite, one of a kind piece of Trashion beautifully styled with French pink cotton gloves.
pink sewing machineWhen I saw the pink vintage sewing machine, I instantly pictured a thrilled teenage girl on Christmas morning and imagined the frilly dresses she created with it.

pink mary kay dishes 2Hint:  I firmly believe Mary Kay premiums will be a top collectible category in the next decade or so. The company combined pink, makeup and professional girl power. How could it be anything but a success?
