A Broken Chocolate Cake 2

A Broken Chocolate Cake

For Christmas, dear hubby’s lovely boss, Kaye, gifted us with a wonderful bundle of ingredients for a scrumptious chocolate cake. Well, it’s scrumptious when SHE makes it.

Devil’s food mix, chocolate chips AND chocolate pudding — how can I possibly mess this up? Ten dollars worth of ingredients mixed with my cooking skills and viola you get a broken chocolate cake.

Half of the baked luscious chocolate mixture stuck to the bundt pan. I dug it out of the pan and attempted to patch the cake. That didn’t work, so I flipped the cake over making the bottom the top. That’s when it developed a crack the size of the Grand Canyon.

Yeah, so, I don’t cook and now you know why :)   Bakeries are my special friends.
