What a lovely score this weekend! Boxes and boxes of pretty baubles.
Five sweet pastel Austrian ornaments. Love the dainty wire wraps. But wait! The box says 1/2 made in Austria — I bet it’s the glass part. No one makes such exquisite glass ornaments as the Austrians.
One box of small vintage silver glass ornaments and one box of larger ones — both American made. I love the spotted patina the glass gets over time. Holly ornaments are never marked, Pyramid ornaments are … just a reminder to collectors to buy what you love, not the makers name!
And, last but certainly not least, three FULL boxes of not-quite-red, not-quite-pink Shiny Brites! It’s so hard to find red ornaments with silver tops — they’re usually gold. Yea for me!
Hubby said “those are for re-sale, right?” Ummmm, sure honey. But first they’re goin’ to brighten up our house for awhile
