Beautiful Clutter

Who says clutter is bad? Pfffft. It really depends on what the clutter is, right?

I’m one of those people who LIKE having beautiful stuff all over the place — good thing since I’m in the stuff business. :)    Here’s a pile of stuff waiting for price tags for the antique mall space.  I’d really like to keep the lamp … and the blue lettuce edge plate … and the ostrich feathers … and the frog vase.

Seriously, I’m never going to make any money at this because I want to keep everything!

These reels of vintage ribbon are just gorgeous aren’t they?  And you know what, I don’t even sew. LOL. But what the heck — I love the ribbons and the graphics on the reels.

Old post cards and vintage greeting cards hang out in an old wooden cream cheese box. Great pieces for paper art — which of course I don’t do.  :)   Again, I just love to look at them. The souvenir post cards spur my imagination wondering what the family was like and if they had a good time on vacation.

While I can appreciate the beauty of the style, I could never live in a minimalist home — or an all white home. I like colorful clutter far too much.

Haven’t been by in a while, thought I’d see what you’ve been up to! I couldn’t live in minimalist or all-white, either! As a matter of fact, I own no white clothes and have no white in my home except for some walls I still haven’t painted!
