In the que for next week is a complete and total redesign on the space at the antique mall.
I commissioned a wonderful Etsy shopkeeper, Heather to make these glittered letters that spell out my logo.
I had looked high and low for chipboard letters to use. The ones I found in craft stores were way to small. I wanted a sign you can see while coming down the aisle at the antique mall. Our local Joann store had some … on clearance even, but all they had left were Z’s and Q’s. Figures, right? Other places had the wooden ones, which are too heavy to hang on a ribbon.
I briefly considered making them myself. Since I’m not a paper crafter, I would’ve had to buy all the materials AND the tools. Luckily, Heather answered my call on Etsy … and this is the wonderful result.
A helpful note: Do NOT vacuum BEFORE working with glittered letters. It just isn’t prudent. Definitely, definitely, vacuum AFTER you’ve strung them on the ribbon of your choice.
The sign has been hanging on my office bookshelf for — oh — a month or so. LOL. I put up a sale in my space at the mall to make way for all the new goodies I’ve been stockpiling at home, because I need to make room at home to store all the things I’ve been ordering for the online shop.
Running a “stuff” business out of a tiny townhouse takes a bit of finesse, a delicate balance of timing … and a healthy dose of cross-eyed craziness.

Hi,
I also rent space at a local antique store and I try to change things around often. I try to add things weekly..as I usually at an estate or garage sale, weekly. My storage in the walk out level of the house is FULL. It’s just too much shopping
Warmly, Deb
I love it!! She did a great job!
