Have I mentioned that I’m a magazine fiend? It’s true. I collect magazines — and keep them for a long, long, LONG time.
Here’s my bedside stack.
It rotates as I get bored with leafing through the same old stuff.
A blue basket holds a few issues on the wicker shelf in the living room.
This trunk keeps the mother stash of home decorating magazines.
Romantic Homes, Romantic Country, Country Living, Victoria, Country Home are all current favorites. In the past, I loved, LOVED Country Sampler Decorating Ideas for all their wonderful How-To’s. It’s a shame they went out of publication. I still keep my eyes peeled for back issues that I don’t yet have.
Home decorating magazines take up about 30% of all the magazines. The other 70% are stashed in the home office.
Shelves and shelves of knitting, crochet and cross stitch magazines with enough patterns to keep a woman busy through — oh about 5 life times maybe. LOL.
Just call me the crazy magazine lady!

Oh, I don’t think you’re crazy at all! I can’t bear to throw out magazines either…to me it would be like throwing out good books!
I loved your Wordless Wednesday photo…so sweet!
I’m with you. I keep my magazines for years. It’s a HAPPYTIME to go thru them and see ideas, recipes and pretty things
:) I have stashes in familyrm, Livingrm, TV room and craft room.
Warmly, Deb
Hi! I’m so glad to know someone else has the same disease I do! I love mags and collect them – decorating ones, that is. I cleaned out some a few months back and found some from the early 1990s! It’s very hard to get rid of these mags, isn’t it? I look at mine over and over again.

I’m big on saving magazines, too! In the last 2 years I started subscribing to too many, though. So each month I bring a big bunch to my doctor!
Good morning! Oh, yes, camera shots count very much. I’d love to have you joing the Divas!!

Hi Inis!
I to, have magazine mania! I have two drawers under my bed, my nightstand, the back of the toilet, stack in the kitchen and on a coffee table. I simply cannot throw them out. Really, think of how they would clutter up the landfill! (Shudder)
I reread them all the time, and I drive my husband crazy.
I used to save a lot of my magazines too. Now I just keep the ones I really love. I do get Romantic Homes all the time but many times the magazine just hits home with me and I keep it. Other times I don’t find much in there I enjoy enough to keep them. I need the space and keeping all of them just took up to much space in my small home.
Hugs,
Joanne
Oh but you have them stored so neatly! I’m in the same loonie lady position but mine are in stacks in corners. I can never find the one I want when I want it. It makes me crazy – I’m a super organized person but these magazines have just gotten away from me =) Blessings… Polly
