I’ve mentioned before that I’m a crazy magazine lady. Well, I also collect lamps — the fancier and more unique the better. The cherub lamp has been featured before.

This gorgeous vintage hand-painted rose lamp is also one of my favorites.
The original shade is still on it, but horribly stained.
So, I wrapped it with a rose valance that I crocheted … and that used to hang in a window.
The small collection of African Violets love this spot right under the soft lamp light. They bloom several times a year — amazing because I had such trouble with violets in the past.
