The Internet has become such a huge tool for the cottage craft industries and we are seeing such a growth of femal-owned home businesses that I encourage this on my blog as well.&lt;br/&gt;I am not a professional crafter, nor am I selling anything, I just feel like something I can do in my small way is encourage these creative people and get their ideas out there.&lt;br/&gt;I have taken the &quot;Handmade Pledge&quot; for all of my gift-giving this year, whether I buy online or from local artists. I also have a left-hand column section featuring some indie craft sites.</description>
