Mmmmmm … Pastry!
If there’s one thing I love, it’s pastry. From strudel to fruit tarts to torte to these delectable filled croissants. Flaky, buttery and filled with cream cheese and stick to your teeth chocolat. Yummy!
I blame my mother 
and my European heritage that comes from her.
This lovely etched dome pastry stand holds my weekly stash of goodness. My husband makes fun of me, because no sooner do I load it up and it’s empty again.
But it really works so much better than those plastic containers in keeping pastry fresh and moist. Magnifique!
Plus, it’s such a pretty sight and makes me smile every time I go into the kitchen to warm up my coffee. It’s like being in a French boulangerie. Presentation really is everything, isn’t it?
I’ll be right over. Save me a chocolate one!
Okay… I need me one of those domes! I have stale doughnuts sitting on my table. Thank you for your comment and now I am going to go in MY kitchen and warm up my coffee and wish I was at your house drooling over your freshly preserved goodies!
