CASTING CALL and GIVEAWAY

1

Just a few quickies before I head out the door on a marathon weekend of garage saling. It seems that every neighborhood in Colorado Springs has their community sales the weekend before Memorial Day. Note to organizers — it would be helpful if you’d spread them out a bit!

Another benefit of my old profession — being privy to casting calls for new shows. Here’s one you may be interested in.

Casting Call: TLC is working on a new lifestyle makeover series based on the Real Simple magazine. Casting directors are looking for Southern California-based women with engaging personalities ranging from working professionals to those who work from home. Bottom line they want women who are eager to find more time doing what they want to do and less on what they HAVE to do to make their lives more rewarding and less complicated. Those interested in appearing on the show, should send an email to: casting@bnent.com with the following information: brief personal bio including info on the people in your life like husbands, kids, boyfriends, in-laws, bosses, etc. and tell why you need a lifestyle makeover. Also include name, age, martial status, where you live, homeowner status, recent photos of yourself, photos of the areas where you need a makeover and photos of the people in your life that contribute to your inefficiencies, i.e. spouse, co-workers, kids, parents, etc.

And, finally, please check back this weekend as I’ll be posting a giveaway in conjunction with Twice Remembered’s Cottage Charm Giveaway. You only get one hint: at least one Lovely item from A Lovely Thing Shop WILL be included!

Oh! Loved your post about hating cooking AND the cleanup! I eat less of what I want and more of what’s easiest to clean up!

    Thx for the great laugh!
