Arte y Pico AWARDS

3

Thanks so much to RoboLady — the absolute queen of trash to treasure! I am in awe of her skill with drills and paint brushes as well as her creativity.

She was so nice to include me to help pass along this “Arte y Pico” award, which I think in Spanish means Art and Peak.

First, the fine print

1. You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also contributes to the blogging community, no matter what language.

2. Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his/her blog to be visited by everyone.

3. Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her/him the award itself.

4. The award winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of Arte y Pico blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award.

5. To show these rules.

Now the very difficult task — choosing just 5 bloggers that I admire for their creativity.

by Kim Wheeler is a very fun read. Not only is she creative, she’s a great writer with touches of humor. My son is long since grown (yes, I’m very, very old), so it’s fun to read about her little kiddos, too.

by Cindy. She has the most elegant home I have ever seen! Romantic, I confess, is my favorite decorating style and her blog is such inspiration for me. Roses and lace – yummy!

by Gabreial is lovely eye candy for all things vintage. Clothes, toys, kitchen, jewelry — she covers absolutely everything. DIY tutorials for those of you who are handy — and wonderful features on artists for those of us who aren’t. Trust me, you can spend hours and hours on her site just reading and clicking!

by Kim. For the full effect, turn up your speakers before clicking on her link. Love the music! Another “romantic” blogger, the picture of cute Maggie and the yellow bungalow is reward enough for visiting, but her photography is just wonderful.

by Jennifer is another inspiration for all things elegant. Lovely rooms, lovely vignettes, lovely objects to die for! Her’s is another blog one can spend all afternoon perusing — with notepad in hand to jot down all the ideas.

The blogosphere is so rich. I spend more time than I should reading and clicking through (and through and through and through) LOL. Everything from knitting to politics — it’s tough to pick out just a few. But, there are just five of the “home” blogs I adore.

thank you for the award!! I soooo appreciate it – and the fact that you think that I’m a “great writer” – well, bless your heart!!!
