When I came upon these lovely tattered vintage porcelain roses, I instantly fell in love with them — chips and all. I’ve scattered them in the dining room where they look quite at home next to my blue willow, and in a cherub wall pocket in my bedroom.
I confess that I have a love of roses … even the imperfect ones.

That is another thing I never turn down, I love those china roses! I have them all over too. I don’t find them often, but when I do, I buy them all. They usually are pretty cheap, I don’t know that everyone appreciates them as much as they should. Maybe we should start a trend!
you have a beautiful blog! i too love roses. and my mom has blue willow china which we used accented by roses as the china for my tea party themed bridal shower!
I love those roses. What a great item.

GORGEOUS!!! Where do you find beautiful roses like that??? I love them!!! What’s considered a good price for one rose?
I like your blue china, too!

Michele, I’m so sorry I didn’t answer your question.
I got these in a “box lot” at an auction. They were tucked down inside under some linens. I think I paid like $20 for the whole box of stuff.
How pretty, I don’t think I have ever seen a porcelin rose before.
