REWORKING A VINTAGE CROCHET PATTERN

February 9, 2008

in Crochet

I found the perfect pattern for yet another curtain project. What can I say, I enjoy hanging my handywork in the window for all to envy ;)
Unfortunately, the pattern is a 1940’s apron. So, I’m reworking it to fit my needs.
The hardest part is in the math — figuring out pattern repeats has never been my strong point.
It’s really quite a simple pattern — basic shell stitches and ending with a pineapple at the bottom.
Check back – when I get this figured out, I’ll post the pattern just to prove I can do it ;)
