SOCKS, BOOTIES AND BABIES

in Knitting

I finished the pink socks some time ago. They’ve already been worn and wash about three times! I love ‘em and am definitely going to do more socks in the future.

Again, I say to all you scared little knitters out there, they ain’t that hard! Just do it.

I have just one issue and that is with the toes. The decreases went smoother with this pair and my kitchner seaming gets better every time, but I’m unhappy about the little bump at the end of the seaming. I don’t quite know what to do after grafting that last stitch. Oh well, some time soon, I’ll make a few test swatches and practice. Wash cloths seem like great practice swatches ;)
I started on another project – a crochet project this time – but, stopped to knit these quick and cute little booties.

My niece had a baby boy and she had the nerve to complain that NO ONE (would that be Aunt Inis?!) made him any booties. Yes, indeed, she guilted me into them. Aren’t they cute, though?  There’s something so sweet about minature clothing!
