Hmmmm, it’s just a tad too long! LOL. But I did it and it really wasn’t all that difficult.

I tried it on – acrylic feels awful on ones feet. It’s very rough. Supposedly this is “baby” yarn. Puhleeese – It’s terrible! If it’s rough on my feet, just imagine how it feels on baby’s skin!
Anyway, I’ll make another of this same kind because I want to practice the toe. I wound up with 2 extras stitches before weaving. Therefore I had to do an extra row to decrease. Don’t know if it was the pattern that was in error or if the TiVo’d series finale of Gilmore Girls distracted me.
The toe is very weird – pointy like for a creature in Whoville! Was it my extra row? Only another test will tell.
I’ll just go ahead and use the same yarn. What the heck else am I going to do with this crappy stuff?
I’m taking suggestions on real sock yarn. Are there any good ones I can buy in my local craft store?
