LEAVES OF BLUE

March 8, 2007

in Knitting

Started this project earlier this week. It’s a free pattern from Lion … their version is in rose, which I wish I had chosen a lighter color as well. It’s difficult to see the stitches on the blue.

Half way through the first square, I started looking for another pattern. This one is difficult as – not only do you have to pay attention to which row you’re one, you have to keep tabs on where in that row you are. Not exactly a TV watching pattern!

Nevertheless, I decided to stick (haha – get it? Jiffy is a sticky yarn) with it, because I couldn’t find a pattern I loved as much.

So, six skeins of it went into my project holder – fourteen more are waiting their turn. Hmmm – wonder if I reeeeaaally want to make it that dang big!
